LDN is proud to be developing a full stack of apprenticeship programmes to support the professionalisation of your HR teams, ranging from the Level 3 HR Support, through to the Level 7 Senior People Professional course, launching in Summer 2024.

Introducing our programmes

Who is it for? 

This Level 3 programme provides a brilliant platform for anybody who wants to develop a career as a Human Resources professional.  Whilst the majority of learners will be at the early stages of their careers, it’s also ideal for existing professionals who are looking to pivot and join the HR function. 

Typically, learners will be in first-line support roles, or delivering the HR function for a small/medium size employer.  They may also be in an administrative role within a larger HR team – but with the opportunity to play an active role in the delivery of some core HR functions. 

What does the apprenticeship cover? 

The curriculum covers all core knowledge units aligned to the Foundation Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD).


Who is it for? 

This programme is built for those who are ready to prove their capability as senior HR leaders, operating at a strategic level.  Although not a requirement for eligibility, it is perfect for those who already qualified at Level 5 of the CIPD, or it can also be for those with significant experience at operational/manager level and who want to take the next step of development, but through a vocational learning route. 

Learners may for example be the HR lead for a small or medium-sized organisation; they may also be an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Business Partner within a large organisation, or lead a specific function of a large people team. 

The key consideration is that learners on this programme have the support of their employer to showcase strategic influence, management and senior responsibility within the HR function. 

What does the apprenticeship cover? 

LDN’s programme aligns with all areas of the Senior People Professional apprenticeship Standard.  In addition to the Standard, learners who complete the programme successfully, with CIPD as their chosen end point assessor, are entitled to apply for Chartered Membership of the CIPD.  The units of study that help LDN’s learners achieve this are:

Who is it for? 

This Level 5 apprenticeship provides an incredible development opportunity for existing HR professionals and those who are on track to become leaders in People teams. The course provides a perfect stepping-stone for individuals who have a few years of experience working within an HR department and have the ambition to work towards becoming a Strategic People Leader or HR Director.

Typically, learners will be in Business Partner or deputy Business Partner roles, or perhaps leading a specialist function, such as OD or Talent, for a large employer. They may also lead the entire HR department for a small or medium-sized employer. Crucially, they will be seen as critical thinkers and will have the encouragement and autonomy to drive change for their employer.

What does the course cover?

All learners will work towards the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management, with the final unit completed during the apprenticeship’s end point assessment.  The course modules are:
