Take the next step in your sustainability career with a new funded route to AISEP and a recognised qualification

If you're an ISEP Affiliate member looking to grow your career in sustainability, the LDN Sustainability Professional apprenticeship could be your next move.

This fully funded Level 4 programme is aligned with the ISEP Associate membership standard and gives you the chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification while you work. You’ll receive free Affiliate membership during your studies, and if you complete the programme and pass the exam, both your first year of Associate (AISEP) membership and the exam are also funded.

Content overview

The LDN Sustainability Professional programme consists of nine learning paths.

  • An introduction to sustainability, core concepts, emerging global trends and how sustainability drives success.

  • Championing sustainable practices and exploring the roles, skills and values for driving sustainability.

  • Understanding the frameworks, policies and standards that shape sustainable practices.

  • Building an impactful strategy to enhance organisational resilience and performance.

  • Learn project management methods to drive impactful sustainability outcomes.

  • Working with key stakeholders to foster collaboration, align on priorities and create impactful initiatives.

  • Data management, data analysis and the application of emerging technologies to measure and improve performance.

  • Essentials of using data for effective reporting and focused and transparent communication.

  • Future proofing of sustainability strategies, developing best practices, and fostering a proactive learning culture.

Elective Courses

LDN has worked closely with industry experts to produce a suite of five additional elective courses that cover key areas of sustainability.

LDN Sustainability Professional apprentices will have the option to complete any of these additional courses.

  • Learn to embed circular economy principles, reduce waste, and drive innovation while creating lasting sustainability impact. 

  • Measure, create, and enhance Social Value through policy, community impact, and organisational responsibility.

  • Explore renewable energy, workplace adoption, and the role of fair, inclusive transition strategies.

  • Analyse, improve, and de-risk supply chains for positive environmental and social outcomes.

  • Understand emissions, Net Zero strategies, and how to reduce carbon impact across organisations.
