In a post-pandemic world, online learning has become ‘the norm’ for those in post-16 education.

While traditional, in-person learning continues to have an important place in the market, more and more consumers and learning providers are taking a digital-by-default approach to learning.

The benefits are numerous and include cost-effectiveness, flexibility and convenience, scalability, reach, ease of customisation and real-time feedback and assessment.

Moreso, employers are investing in their own digital learning products to upskill their teams; using the data and insights to both ensure regulatory compliance and have a sharper lens on employee engagement and productivity.

Who is it for?

The Digital Learning Designer programme is a Level 5 apprenticeship programme.  This means that it is best suited to those who have studied to at least A-level standard.

It can be used to underpin a development programme for a new-hire learner – but also carries great value as a development programme for existing employees who perhaps form part of a wider L&D function.  It might also be appropriate for people who work in creative teams.
