Give your NHS team the skills to design modern, engaging digital training. Helping you deliver learning faster, improve staff engagement, and keep pace with changing healthcare standards.

Two coworkers, a woman with glasses and a man, sit at a wooden picnic table in a meeting room with a world map on the wall behind them. The woman is smiling and taking notes with a laptop and tablets on the table.

The NHS must deliver training faster and more effectively, yet many teams can’t keep up. Outdated tech, limited capacity, and digital bottlenecks are common challenges.

The Digital Learning Designer apprenticeship equips staff to transform learning delivery without extra budget.

We’re now enrolling NHS apprentices to join the upcoming January intake of the Digital Learning Designer programme. They will begin the programme alongside other Digital Learning Designer apprentices, while also starting at the same time as fellow NHS colleagues from across the country.

This means they benefit from both the wider cross-sector learning community and the support of peers who understand the unique challenges of NHS training.

“Healthcare is constantly evolving, particularly around standards and practices. Since joining the Digital Learning Designer programme with LDN, I have been able to keep content up-to-date, maintain staff engagement with training, and ultimately help ensure patient safety.”

Alicia Lloyd

Digital Learning Designer Apprentice
Isle of Wight NHS Trust

“My learning journey has not only transformed my individual work but also our team's approach to digital learning. I encouraged key stakeholders to conduct Learning Needs Analyses (LNA) to assess the necessity and suitability of eLearning solutions. This strategic shift enabled us to develop interactive, learner-focused modules.”
