Build the ICT support capability your NHS teams rely on every day. Helping you strengthen service desk capacity, improve response times, and support digital transformation across your Trust.

NHS ICT teams are under increasing pressure to maintain reliable services while supporting new systems, cyber requirements, and growing user demand.

Many teams are balancing day-to-day support with longer-term digital priorities, often with limited capacity and hard-to-fill roles.

The Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship provides a practical way to build internal capability, developing skilled ICT support professionals who can contribute from day one.

We’re now enrolling NHS apprentices to join a July cohort, bringing together Trusts from across the country.

This means apprentices benefit from both a wider peer network and shared learning with others facing similar NHS challenges.

Why NHS Trusts are investing
in apprenticeships

Apprenticeships provide a practical way to build, retain, and develop talent aligned to organisational needs, supporting long-term workforce planning and reducing reliance on external recruitment.

They can be used to both bring in new talent and upskill existing staff, creating clear pathways into ICT careers while strengthening teams from within.
