AI is transforming how organisations work, make decisions and plan for the future. To stay competitive and effective, individuals and teams need the skills to use AI confidently, ethically and responsibly in ways that create real value.

The LDN AI Fundamentals apprenticeship is designed to help organisations build practical AI capability, equipping apprentices with the knowledge, technical understanding and confidence to apply AI effectively in the workplace.

Through hands-on learning, apprentices develop the ability to use AI strategically and with sound judgement, understanding how to apply it responsibly, support adoption across teams, and improve productivity, decision-making and long-term performance.

Who is it for?

The LDN AI Fundamentals apprenticeship is ideal for employees who are, or will be, supporting the use of AI tools, systems and ways of working across their organisation.

It is designed for people who need more than a basic understanding of AI. Learners develop the confidence, technical understanding and ethical judgement to use AI effectively themselves, whilst helping colleagues and teams adopt AI responsibly in day-to-day work.

The programme is particularly suited to individuals who support digital systems, business processes, users or teams and who are expected to play a role in helping others use AI with confidence, care and good judgement.

Learners could be:

  • Team members who support colleagues with digital tools, systems or AI-enabled ways of working.

  • Digital, operations or business support staff who help troubleshoot issues, improve processes or guide users.

  • Employees who are expected to help introduce, explain or embed AI tools across a team or function.

  • Administrators, coordinators, analysts or support professionals who want to develop a more active role in AI adoption.

  • Professionals who want to build the ethical and responsible judgement needed to support safe and effective AI use at work.
