IHPN Sustainable
Healthcare Academy
with LDN Apprenticeships
Following its successful launch in 2025, we're thrilled to announce that the next IHPN Sustainable Healthcare Academy cohort will begin in April 2026.
The IHPN Sustainable Healthcare Academy brings together a community of colleagues from member organisations across the Independent Healthcare Providers Network, who share a passion for sustainability and play a role in creating change and impact within their organisations.
The Academy is underpinned by the Level 4 Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Practitioner apprenticeship, designed to be broad and adaptable for a wide range of roles. In the first cohort, 32% of participants are clinical staff and 68% non-clinical, reflecting its flexibility and relevance across teams.
LDN Apprenticeships is a B Corp-certified training provider highly rated under Ofsted’s latest framework and has successfully launched a similar programme for NHS organisations in 2025, which is going from strength to strength. Participants in the IHPN’s Academy will learn alongside NHS colleagues at key points throughout the programme’s delivery.
We’re delighted to be working in partnership with the Independent Healthcare Providers Network, hosting a series of Insight Sessions at the beginning of 2026 to share more details of the programme.
The Insight Sessions will cover…
-

The learning programme, and how it delivers sustainable impact
-

Course structure, content and timelines
-
